Images in forum posts?

I was just wanting to show off my character art in the ad design thread... it's all links, not the same. Or maybe an image gallery?

That actually links to post, not an image. Which reminds me of a suggestion for posters. If you put the following tag in the link, in between the " of the URL and the >that closes the link tag, it will open the link in a new window: target="_blank"
I've always considered it a courtesy not to lead people away from a forum.

Yes, but in the post, Karen got images to work. 







Img is allowed in the forums; it's HTML, not BBCode. So:
<img src="http://whereverimageis.com/path/to/image.jpg" />
Example:
<img src="http://www.weblit.us/sites/default/files/pictures/picture-11.jpg" />
becomes:
Note: in the "how to do it" text above, I have the < and > in markup so you can see it. Use the actual < and > when you're wanting to show the image.
