How many here are on facebook?
And if you or your project is there, why not let us know and, and what it's called there? Maybe even a link to it.
That's what facebook is all about, promotion and outreach.
I can't beleive I didn't think of this before, but does weblit.us have a Facebook page?
And would that be a good idea? Maybe a group?
That's a very good idea. I'll start a group.
ETA: Aaaand, here it is: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=160943095698
I suppose I ought to make a Lyn Thorne-Alder facebook page, then...
Lyn, Thorne Alder
Huh, I somehow never thought of doing this. How do I go about setting up a fan page for Chatoyant College? Facebook keeps changing and it confuses me.
It is kinda hard, Clare. You have to be logged out of your account and navigate the main page like a zillion ways. Not easy at all.
Go to your list of groups that you belong to. There should be a "create a group" link on that page.
@MeiLin but that's assuming she wants to create a group and not a fan page...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you go to the bottom of any fan page (for ease of use, mine's here), and look at the bottom left corner, it says "create a page for my business".
Clicking on that should let you make a fan page.
Ah, big assumption. Yes, that's how to create a fan page. (I have both a fan page and a group for some reason; someone else started the group, and I started a fan page.)
Ooh, yes, A. M. Harte is correct. Which is good, because I searched and searched and couldn't find a listing of my groups. I know I've seen it before!
Now I have a fan page!
Next step: an entourage.
OK - I think I have set one up for Refuge of Delayed Souls - you can find it
I have been adding favourites as best I can - please make it easier for me to find you by adding me & then I can reciprocate
Thanks
Guess I should have looked harder before posting my last thread. Oops!
I went ahead and made a page, despite my fears no one would be my fan besides me: http://bit.ly/4YIkNa

My Facebook fan page is here.
